By accessing and using the Sanctuary Systems website and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. Sanctuary Systems reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

2. Service Description

Sanctuary Systems provides premium competitive gaming strategy coaching and role-specialist guides. Our Service includes systematic advancement frameworks, ability synergy theory, positioning analysis, team coordination patterns, and verified speedrun analysis across five distinct survivor roles. The Service is designed for returning competitive players and role specialists seeking structured progression beyond beginner-level tactics.

All content, coaching materials, and frameworks provided through the Service are educational in nature and intended to improve your competitive gameplay understanding and decision-making.

3. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or Sanctuary Systems staff
• Reproducing, distributing, or transmitting any content without written permission
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the underlying methodology or frameworks
• Using automated tools, bots, or scraping methods to extract content
• Reselling, redistributing, or commercially exploiting the Service or its materials
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Sanctuary Systems website—including but not limited to role guides, ability synergy matrices, positioning frameworks, speedrun annotations, map overlays, flowcharts, and coaching materials—is the exclusive intellectual property of Sanctuary Systems or its content creators. This includes all written text, visual designs, strategic frameworks, decision criteria, and curated speedrun records.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use this content for your personal, non-commercial competitive gaming improvement. You may not copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on this content without explicit written permission from Sanctuary Systems.

Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of Sanctuary Systems intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

5. User-Generated Content

If the Service permits you to submit, post, or share content (such as comments, strategy notes, or gameplay clips), you retain ownership of that content but grant Sanctuary Systems a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content in connection with the Service. You warrant that you own or have the right to share any content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Sanctuary Systems makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

While we strive to provide accurate, current, and reliable information, Sanctuary Systems does not guarantee that:

• All content is error-free or completely up-to-date with game balance changes
• The Service will be uninterrupted or free from technical issues
• Following our frameworks will guarantee competitive success or rank advancement
• Speedrun records or strategies will remain optimal as game mechanics evolve

Competitive gaming outcomes depend on numerous factors beyond our control, including game updates, opponent skill, team coordination, and individual execution. Sanctuary Systems is not responsible for your competitive results or rank progression.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sanctuary Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of rank, loss of gaming opportunities, or reputational harm in competitive communities.

Sanctuary Systems's total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for access to the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you have not paid for the Service, liability shall not exceed one hundred Hungarian Forints (HUF 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sanctuary Systems, its owners, operators, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

9. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including video hosting platforms, gaming communities, and external resources. Sanctuary Systems does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

10. Termination

Sanctuary Systems reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to violation of these Terms, unauthorized use of intellectual property, abusive conduct, or payment issues.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Budapest, Hungary, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

12. Modifications to the Service

Sanctuary Systems reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any portion thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if not possible, severed. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sanctuary Systems regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
